  • Your Amazon.com account
  • Your Amazon Business account

Note: While an Amazon Business account isn't required to apply, having one allows you to take full advantage of business-specific features, pricing and benefits available to business customers.

Yes, you can apply using your Social Security Number (SSN) if you’re a sole proprietor without an Employer Identification Number (EIN).

No, your rewards do not expire as long as your Prime Business Card or Amazon Business Card account remains open and in good standing. 


However, rewards may be affected in these situations:

  • If your account is not in good standing (past due or overlimit), you may not redeem rewards until the account returns to good standing.
  • If your account is closed (by you or by U.S. Bank), you will lose all unredeemed rewards 

Important: Keep your Prime Business Card or Amazon Business Card account current and in good standing to maintain access to your earned rewards.

Disclosures

Rewards are earned on eligible Net Purchases. Net Purchases are Purchases minus credits and returns. Not all transactions are considered to be Purchases and eligible to earn Rewards, such as transactions posting as Convenience Checks; Balance Transfers; Advances (including ATM withdrawals, wire transfers, traveler's checks, money orders, foreign cash transactions, betting transactions, and lottery tickets); interest charges and fees; credit insurance premiums; and transactions to (i) fund certain prepaid card products, (ii) buy currency from the U.S. Mint, or (iii) buy cash convertible items. Please refer to your Cardmember Agreement for additional information. 

Account must be open and in good standing (not past due or overlimit) on the closing date of the billing cycle to earn and redeem rewards and benefits. Each merchant’s business is identified by a category code. A Purchase will not earn additional Rewards if the category code applied to a merchant is in a category that is not eligible for additional Rewards earning. We do not determine the category codes applied to merchants’ businesses and reserve the right to determine which Purchases qualify for additional Rewards. Rewards for prepaid travel are deposited into the reward account after the Purchase has been processed for the prepaid travel reservation. Please allow 1-2 statement billing cycles for your earned Rewards to appear on your credit card billing statement.

  1. If you sign up for or cancel your Amazon Prime membership after this Account was opened, the Card reward program will change, as described in the Program Rules.

  2. Rewards for prepaid travel are deposited into the reward account after the purchase has been processed for the prepaid travel reservation. Please allow 1-2 statement billing cycles for your earned rewards to appear on your credit card billing statement.

  3. If you were offered cash back upon approval of your Prime Business World Elite Mastercard® (“Prime Business Card”) or Amazon Business World Elite Mastercard® (“Amazon Business Card”) credit card application, in order to receive the cash back, you must make Net Purchases in the amount specified in the offer using your new Prime Business Card or Amazon Business Card within the stated period of time after account opening, as described in the offer materials. The Net Purchases must post to your account within the stated time period.  The date that a transaction is made may not be the same date that a transaction posts to your account, and we cannot control when a merchant posts a transaction to your account. Net Purchases are Purchases minus credits and returns.  Please allow 1-2 statement billing cycles after you have met the spend requirement for your cash back to be credited to your account in the form of a statement credit.
