When your debit card arrives in the mail, activate it in one of three easy ways – via the U.S. Bank Mobile App, online banking or by phone.

If you received a temporary debit card in the branch when you opened your account, use the PIN from that card to activate your new debit card.

  1. Select Manage Cards and choose your card.
  2. Select Activate.

Activate via online banking.

  1. Select Accounts, then Manage Cards, and choose your card.
  2. Select Activate.

Activate via phone.

Once you’ve activated your new debit card, add it to your digital wallet and pay with confidence right from your phone. It’s a secure, fast way to check out in stores, online and in apps.

If you already added your temporary card information to your digital wallet, your wallet will automatically be updated with your new card information.
